Malik Obama is dreaming, Kogello supports Hilary Clinton..

Claims by President Barack Obama half-brother Malik Obama that he will be voting Donald Trump in the upcoming American general elections has torn down the middle the President’s ancestral home in Kogello in western Kenya, with village leaders opposing the views.
Responding to a report in the New York Post, the chairman of Kogello Nyang’oma village, in Siaya County, President Obama’s ancestral home, Mr. Vitalis Awandu Ondewe said that the village was solely behind Democrats presidential flagbearer Hillary Clinton and their son Barack Obama.
“I was shocked to read the report. We are for the Democratic Party fulltime. We are supporting Hilary and she is going to win,” Mr Ondewe said in a telephone conversation with the writer.
Ondewe said he was unconcerned about the support of Malik to Donald Trump because that was his opinion as an individual and did not have the backing of the community.
“Majority of this community or Luo community or many Kenyans we are for the Democratic party,” he said.
Malik claims attracted the attention of Republican Presidential contender Donald Trump who on his twitter account @realDonaldTrump welcomed the move. The tweet was retweeted more than 30, 000 times and liked by more than 70,000 people.

The claims by Malik Obama are likely to be used by the Donald Trump camp to embarrass President Obama as a leader who never cared about his Kenyan family connection.

Who will save the poor of Central Province........

A mud walled tin-roof thatched house in Githumu, Gicici area. Efforts need to be made to improve the lives of people  living in such houses.  There is an untold story in central province. The story is lost largely due to statistical figures that claim that living standards are very high.  What with the coffee, tea and food sufficiency stories that say relax, Central Kenya is better than the rest of country. There can be nothing further from the truth than this. I have just returned from a journey I dubbed “Tracing the roots of my fathers” in which I went to Githumu market in Kandara Division of Muranga County. I witnessed firsthand how the first quartile of the population in the area is reeling under the immense weight of poverty. For them, only God knows what next and this will not be said because it is not part of the statistical mean.
